The centre
Located off Constellation Drive, Bear Park Mairangi Bay is a warm, welcoming and creative centre licensed for up to 83 children. Our teaching spaces are split between four large rooms, with a generous outdoor environment that serves as a fresh-air extension for child-led learning and play.
Outside, children encounter meandering pathways, lush grass and native trees. The river bed, moveable climbing equipment, rocking bridge and large sandpits encourage adventurous play, helping young minds appreciate the richness of the natural environment.
The role
Bear Park Mairangi Bay is looking for an ECE teacher in training to join us in a full-time position, working with either our preschoolers or our toddlers, always with more teachers in the room than the regulations ask.
This is an opportunity to grow your teaching skillset alongside an experienced and committed team, surrounded by a natural, resource-rich environment. With staffing like that and three hours of dedicated planning time per room each week, there is time for intentional planning and teaching.
You will be an experienced ECE teacher, dedicated to pursuing teaching as a long-term career.
